I do believe that he is right, the only point he missed was the apology. Imus apologized publicly acknowledged that his statement was wrong in every way, which would be the only reason he does deserve to keep his job.

It's very simple. It's call Free Speech. He can say whatever he wants and if I don't like it, then I will exercise my right to turn the station. We all do not have the right to "not be offended." But we have the freedom of choice whether or not listen to it. Turn the channel. I don't agree with what Imus said. That's why I don't listen to him. But apparently he has a large enough fan base that keeps him on the air

This was a well made video depicting what most people with a brain think. Too many people take a word/comment and run with it right to the authorities and making something that was just a stupid-ass comment made by a jerk who is obviously not a racist but some shock jock who opened his mouth at the wrong time.
Rev Jessie J and Al S BOTH piss me off royally as they EXPLOIT issues like this and while they spread HATE instead of trying to create understanding. They make things WORSE than better.
