OMG!! You got one of them too?? I had a roommate years ago that had a fire in the next room & refused to give up the game.. Had to be dragged out screaming cursing like a trooper I tell you !!

My son. He lives and breaths video games. He is 25. When you do manage to get him off the computer and socialize he goes to LARP's (Live Action Role Playing). Gets dressed up as a character, he is a medieval werewolf, and runs through the woods all weekend in character, in the rain. When I pick him up on Sunday, he passes out in the car on the way to the after party for lunch at Red Robin, a 30 minute drive out of the wood. After we leave the Red Robin he passes out for the 45 minute ride the rest of the way to his Aunt's house where he lives. He has gotten about 5 hours sleep max all weekend. My sister gave him a choice between a computer and a car when he graduated High School. He chose the computer. He is finally motivated to drive and has gotten his learner's permit. His new job is a 2 hour bus ride one-way to work. It is a 30-45 minute commute in a car in rush hour traffic. My car has a clutch... God grant me patience.

But Mine would crash all the way home (back then D & G was the game) Sleep they did & deep too. Get their arses home and they can't do anything but sleep till the phone rings!! & then..... Oh! yeah I remember those days forgive me

We have decided that if he ever dates that she will have to be a gamer otherwise they will have nothing in common. I get trapped in the car with him and he talks about games the whole time. When I look at him and tell him I don't have a clue what he is talking about. He looks at me and says "But you are my Mommy and are the only relative who will let me talk about gaming without getting mad when I don't shut up."
I had a girlfriend get upset when I looked at him and told him to shut up. I looked at her and laughed and told her if I tell him to be quiet he will just talk quieter. My son just looked at her with a shit-eatting grin and nodded his head. And started babbling again. She looked at him and said would you shut the f up. He answered can I get back on your computer now. this is my son. He has ADHD.
