Some animals allow you to get within inches of them until you look them in the eye.

Some animals don't have ALL superior senses. Take the wolverine for example. Poor eyesight, beautiful sense of smell.

Interesting to see evolution at work too. Animals relying on the sense of sound for detection often have eyes that can rotate, with tiny sensitive hairs inside the ear to pick up the slightest sound.

Animals with large eyes often have good eyesight, small noses poor sense of smell etc, etc.

Another good example is the Emperor scorpion, large claws, tiny stinger. Why? Because it's used its claw, not it's stinger. Kind of a crude rule of thumb with scorpions: if it's claws are larger than it's stinger, there is a greater chance it's not poisonous and vice versa.

Besides, that thing loks like it was sleeping.

Have you ever tried to sneak that close to any truely wild animal? Espically one with big ears and big eyes. Did you also notice how the film cuts and it suddenly is in view. It is just a hoax nothing more.

there is no species of bear, to my knowledge, that resides in mexico. but then again, i didn't even know there were woods in mexico. but, that thing looked nothing at all like a bear. it looked kinda like the female vampires from van helsing, starring hugh jackman. other than that, looks like a bald guy with some sort of birth defect.
