So would I, as the police officer driving the vehicle. I'd sue that piece of crap criminal who caused me all the mental anquish resultant from the accident that he caused in his fleeing lawful arrest for a crime.

That asshole got what he deserved, or at least a part of it. I have ZERO sympathy for the piece of scum. He could tell me any sob story he wanted about how badly he needed the money for whatever good cause he had for it and even if I did believe him it still wouldn't excuse the crime of theft (and for all we know assault, most purse snatchings are violent).

I was disappointed to see him moving after, I was half hoping he'd be crippled for life, at least then he wouldn't be running from the cops next time. I'm only glad his injury doesn't look too serious because it would be a burden on the cop and the taxpayers, since no doubt he will sue, and some lawyer (and I use the term loosely) will probably make millions.

Running him over is too good for that criminal, but he's not worth a bullet, it would have been better all around if he'd just fallen in a deep hole while running away and gone straight to hell.

I agree. He got what he deserved. If he hadn't have stolen, then he wouldn't have been running, and the cop wouldn't have had to LEARN him with the front end of his truck.

Criminals shouldn't have rights. They don't respect the rights of others when they commit their crimes, and the same respects should be paid to them as well.

If you look closely, i don't think the truck ACTUALLY ran over him. the first wheel never went over him, and the second one might looks like it have caught his left leg, but thats it.

Damn thief. Proper justice would be giving the keys to the truck to the poor old woman he took the purse from, and let her run over him a couple of times.

Also, thats a typical Texan idea. "Shoot first, ask questions later." but in this case, run over the guy first, then arrest him, then see if he's still alive.

My daughter still has the nightmares from a armed robber that came into our shop just befor closing and held sawn off shotgun against her hip so hard it left a very dark bruise..

she cant stand anyone in a helmet or belaclarver if she catches them out of the corner of her eye, she is 25 now it happened when she was 14yrs old...... they never caught the son of a bitch, he has no idea what he's done to her, nor would he probly even care..........

If the son of a bitch got off his arse and worked 18hours a day for mimamum wage like we did......... he wouldnt have to break the law..he'd have the money because he wouldnt have the bloody time to spend it .. or waste it, as he would know how hard it was to earn iT in the first place..

How dare anyone have the right to sue, for harm caused by commiting a crime...........

the sad thing is, the sob wont get more than a few months for petty theft, during that few months he will have free legal council, and 3 hots and a cot. for commiting a crime that hurts another person.

but if i work hard everyday and get caught growing 1 marijuana plant for personal use, im gone for about 4 months minimum. probably about the same ammount of time as him, when i have done nothing more than take the "blackmarket" out of the picture.
