Ever driven on a high-speed highway? While I do agree that SOME of the mistakes done here are dumb, there are a few ground rules when driving fast on an open road.

- Keep a good distance between cars in front of you if not overtaking.
- Never ever ever ever break or stop unless on a place marked for such a thing.

A few weeks ago I saw a 15-car pileup happen about 200 meters in front of me on a local highway. Some of the cars were going up to 100 mph - and it happened because some twit in the right-most lane thought it would be safe to slow down from 110 mph to 40 mph in order to move left.

Nasty.
