I've taught my kids to shoot. Not quit that young though.
People automatically assume the worst when it comes to guns. It's a sport. I could've probably gone to the Olympics but I chose family first.

How would a baby die from the recoil or lack there of with that .22 cal pistol. Babies shit harder than the recoil of that gun. He is teaching him very well. He never lets him hold the gun alone. Good job. People think guns are evil. No way.... it is the people who misuse guns who give them a bad name. NRA all the way!!

If "Forest" wants to give a gun to his baby, " Forest " needs to be in prison.

Baby cant hold a pistol when firing... daddy has the gun in his hand.. if baby was trying to hold it it would smack him in the head... babys still have soft spots in their skull... dead baby.

That isnt a baby that is a toddler. Big difference. Babys dont walk and talk. You obviously dont like guns, but that is ok. I think sending the guy to prison makes any sense. I mean come on.

I love guns... I dont love irresponsable parents... since it says dad in the title but we really dont know anything about the bald headed guy... he could be a skin head... could be a kidnapped kid... ya just dont know from the image... he is not a responsable parent.

no toddler should be touching a gun.

the image is on a par with the hanging a butt from the kids lip.. or have him hold a beercan .. both of which the kids seem to love on this site...

I was that young shooting a .22LR.

I didn't shoot anything bigger until I was 12. Then it was .38 special, .357 mag, and .45. It wasn't until I was 20 I could handle the .44mag. I still haven't shot a .50AE yet, but I plan on it.

As far as rifles, I haven't ever shot anything bigger than a .22LR. I have my eye on an A-2 Armalite carbine but I have to get divorced all the way first. Being in the middle of a divorce and buying guns doesn't look good.

Personally, I think that's a little young to be teaching a kid about guns. I won't let my kids (when I have them) shoot a gun until they are old enough to hold it on their own. I didn't shoot my first real gun until I was 10.

There's also the danger that he's teaching his son it's ok to go by daddy's guns. If that guy is careless just once and leaves a gun out, bye bye baby.

now thats just irrational. teaching kids about guns at a early age, (prolly not that early though)creates respect for the gun, not curiosity it also shows its not a plaything. also colombine took place because of sever phycotruma, not because they leaned to shoot at a young age.

right when i found the meaning of life they changed it

There is ONE thing to teach a kid at a young age gun resposibility but way another to give a child who does not really understand the power or deadliness of a gun the opportunity or access like that. Look pa - shot myself in the head!! That kid by NO means understands what say a 5 or 6 yr old would = for that kid it is a loud thing that goes bang - would not be surprised if that kid gets access to one and shoots either himself or someone by mistake = happens ALL THE TIME...
/rant off

I'm a bit confused by the title. I'm not too sure why he's not a good dad.

This is my signature. I hope you've enjoyed it.
