Now.. I don't think this is a 'funny' video per se. But, it is interesting to see - mainly because you can see the ignorance among people. I'm a huge Rallying fan, and I'll probably go catch this year's Acropolis rally. This video clearly shows that people SHOULD NOT stand in the fucking street when a fucking rally car is screaming by.

It's not the fact that the dude got creamed is funny. His stupidity however, is.

I believe in Darwinism and also that warning labels (like "Do not use internally" on a curling iron) should be done away with, but that doesn't mean I need to see the results of stupidity as a form of entertainment or homour. Personally I think that there are enough sites dedicated to the whole "reality is hard - can you stomach it?" concept, that I liked uGoto because most of the stuff is funny and time wasting without being cringe-inducing! :D

I never said that the result of stupidity should be used as humor. I say that stupidity is a form of humor in itself. Now, while I do agree that maybe this specific video is a bit well.. rough, and not everyone could stomach it, I still firmly believe that people should see it - just to learn from it.

And on a note to joe: Here's an idea. Maybe allow users to opt-out of seeing "disturbing" videos somehow.

I don't think stupidity in itself is funny. stupidity is relative, and I don't see how it's funny that some people aren't as smart as others (would you laugh at a toddler who walked in the street and got hit by a car? a mentally retarded person?). I don't mean to rip into you. I just think your thinking was a bit muddled when you posted. anyway, this guy was being careless, which doesn't necessarily say anything about his intelligence. I do agree with you, though, that videos like this shouldn't be censored from the site. although I didn't find it funny, it did arouse my curiosity.

Well, in fact the video is not marked as 'funny.' The title it self states hard core as well.

Fact of the matter is, there arent enough 'funny' videos to make a full days worth of posts. Many people enjoy seeing these videos. Its like passing an accident on the side of the road. You HAVE to see what happened, who is to blame, etc.
