You know, I remember when this happened since it was on our local news a couple years ago. I myself was pretty disgusted - the guy had a knife and they hit him with a car. Seems pretty much like the definition of "excessive force".

Aren't the cops the same people who tell teens that their vehicle is a 2000+ lb weapon that they should be careful handling?

Sorry, but Toronto Police are not far off from LAPD in being dicks.
