I have seen a broken toyota.
In 1983, when my family & I first moved to NYC, our blue Corolla broke down ON the Brooklyn Bridge during the evening rush. My parents had to push it to the Manhattan side (while I steered ... at 8 years old), in traffic (the other people on the bridge were not happy at all !) & then my dad ripped the plates off & we abandoned it & took a cab home (it was a piece of shit) !!

I don't know much about clothes. But, my hair looks feirce !!!

In recent reiliability surveys, Toyotas always have the best results. They just work really good.

Toyota is surpassing our "Big 3" here. Ford Dodge and Chevy always have worse crash rating that Toyota. My dad bought a Tundra 2 years ago and at 65K miles, NO WARRANTY WORK AT ALL! Between me and him, we have owned 15 new Chevrolet trucks since 91. Every single one of them had problems from 2 weeks on out until we traded them in.
You get in my dads Toyota, close the door and you would swear he just drove it off the lot. Drive it down the freeway...NO ROAD NOISE! I have to have the radio on in my Chevy so the wind noise doesn't bother me.

I can't wait until my wife finds a job. New Tundra parked in the driveway for me.

I'm so proud of you. :)

Seriously though, Toyotas are famous for their reliability. The looks on new Toyotas might not be the best, but they'll sure last forever.

Heres a real kicker.
Watch the news, and what are the terrorists driving around in? mid 70's toyota trucks. Tell me this...where the fuck are the service stations where they get their mantainence and oil changes?? I don't think there is any.

And, with Japanese bikes, which me and my dad have some experience with, they sometimes don't use gaskets on mating surfaces due to the high tolerances they use.

If Yamaha ever makes a vehicle I'd buy it.

I guess they've gotten better since 1983.
All I know is, the Toyota we had in the late 70's to early 80's was a peice of shit & it ALWAYS broke down(& in the most inconvienient places, too).

My dad had a 77 Celica that nearly put him in the hospital. It hurt his neck to drive. Not very friendly to a 6'2" 240 lb guy. More like a monkey fuckin a foot ball.

Now, the twin turbo Supra....Toyota needs to bring this car back. NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW!

The Supra rocked hard. Easily one of the best looking cars ever - I mean, they didn't call it "The Japanese Ferrari" for nothing, and it had a great engine. The TT models were really insane, and with some tuning, it's not uncommon to get 500+ hp out of the car.

You'd be interested to know that the Supra will return, probably for the 2007 model year. It should have a V8, and factory output is expected to be 450+ horse.

And knowing Toyota, it's going to be indestructible.

Sexy huh?

There are a few of them here running around, and you KNOW when you hear those twin turboes that there is going to be some rubber left on the road.
Last summer I was driving around, and there was a Supra beside me. He wanted to pass the car in front of him, so when he changed lanes he down shifted (we were already moving at 40mph) and stomped on the gas and broke the tires loose the ENTIRE TIME (not severe wheel spin, but an unmistakeable screech) as he switched lanes and passed the car in front of him.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmm
