I'd love to have heard the police radio:
Cop1: Dispatch, permission to PIT?
Dispatch: Permission to PIT granted.
{PIT 1 fails}
Cop1: What the . . . Charley, you see that? I'm outta position. You give it a try.
Cop2: No problem, I got this.
{PIT 2 fails}
Cop2: Son of a Bitch!
Cop3: Stand back you guys, I got this.
{PIT 3 fails}
Cop3: I don't ******* believe it!

What you don't see in this video is that the Mustang gets PITted a forth time and is run into a fire hydrant and the driver is arrested (at gunpoint).

{PIT 4 succeeds}
Cop4: YEAH! Got you, you God Damned Son of a Bitch! {mumbles to self} Damned rookies!

Search YouTube for "Police Chase Pit Maneuver Stolen Car Drive" without quotes and listen to the live reporters (better than that annoying Dukes song). Female reporter on third PIT, "It worked, the third time worked." WRONG!

I'm a cop lover (dad and brother were cops) but I gotta give this bad guy props on his driving skills.
