Yaw'd hard to the right on take-off (due to wind?).. and over-recovered. At that point it was too far gone to take off so he powered down and rode it out. Could have been a lot worse imho. Taking off with flaps usually indicates a shorter-than-normal take-off distance. I'd guess he misjudged the distance. Not drunk, just bad decision making.

this was from a film/documentary a while ago about a couple of surfer guys travelling around austrailia looking for the best waves. They got this guy to fly them to this beach but milked the landing. They all got out unharmed, the pilot didnt seemed pissed off either
