I saw some Asian guy do this during the half time show at the NHRA Vegas Winston Nationals 3 years ago. The guy was on a Yamaha R6, and he'd burn down the middle of the track where the BHT wasn't laid down, and basically ski behind his bike. He had a throttle lever rigged up because he'd do it from damn near a stand still, then WHAM he's at like 100 mph towards the end of the track. Amazing shit really.
