It'll prevent his face from smashing into the steering wheel, that's for sure.

Actually, this looks a lot worse than it actually is. Cars are made so that they purposely crumple up like that in order to maximize the time that the car takes to slow down so that the people feel the lease deceleration. From what I've seen, the driver still has his legs and the car crumpled perfectly...looks good to me.

Yeah but they are mainly sopposed to crumple around the engine compartment so the damage never makes it to the passengers. That damage definetly made it to the passengers, and with the way the dash came up and it looks like the dummy ending up slipping past the air bag to the side of the steering wheel, I would say it most definetly was as bad as it looked if not worse.

Ohhh no... that is the example of what is very BAD. The idea is that the passengers have a completely safe capsule, and that vehicle failed miserably. The roof buckled and there was intrusion into the compartment from below as well.

That was pretty much the everything-went-wrong kind of test.

it looks like the steering wheel detached at first but then looking at it agan its everything else pushing it foward. Ouch, ill sit in the back, that didnt look so bad

Actually it's the New Chinese LANDWIND. Although they claim it is different it look like they stolen the drawing of the Opel/Vauxhall Frontera. It's an exact match. But it is only half the price of a "normal" brand with a similar SUV.

The shown crash test was performed by a dutch motorist company to test this VERY cheap car for safety. The car shown only does 64 KM/H (about 40MPH) and if you were the driver you would NOT have servived this!!!!
This was the reason that dutch governement want to ban this car from the country until it is safer.

I am glad someone knew what kind of vehicle it was. I knew right away that it would have been fatal to the driver from watching previous crash testing and knowing what they are looking for.

That vehicle is awful. At 64 km/h accidents should be almost 100% survivable, not 100% fatal.
