I agree... sadly, this occurred here in Indiana... the end result was that she did lose her kids... she turned herself in after hiding out in a neighboring state for a few days after this clip went public
When she was tried, they claimed incompetency, and ended up with a light sentence

I don't have to attend every argument I'm invited to.

This is an age in which one cannot find common sense without a search warrant.

i'm sorry but disciplining her child is up to her... maybe the kid needed a good smack across the head?

i swear, i see so many "grown adults" that act like toddlers. all the moral decay in this country... it's most likely all because of lack of forceful discipline of children.

ok yes disciplining your kids is acceptable and maybe the odd smack or two would do them some good. But what that woman is doing there is just plain abuse and theres no need to continually hit your child like that.

I agree, you should woop your kids and discipline them, but not go all out and tear into them. She was full swinging, hands cocked back and everything. I woulda drop kicked her if i was walkin past. Or you never know, she might have been getting the dust out of the seats of her car.

The saddest thing..she probably was beaten as a child. We learn from our elders when we are children. This is so sad, and it makes me feel sick to see a child beaten like this. Yeah, a smack when the child is made to understand what the punishment is for is ok, but to beat on the kid like this woman did, reall really sad!

Looks like she was reachin over the girl to reach her behind to whack. If the child was hit in the head she wouldn't have got up and hopped joyfully to the back of the car, probably just what her mother told her to do in the first place. Back in the day we used to get paddled with wood paddles, with holes carved out of them. Hurt like hell, but what we did wrong was usually the last time it was done....never thought of calling 911, we would have been beaten and locked in our rooms....you people these days....If you ask me there's not enough spankings anymore, that's why kids take weapons to school and kill, cause 'they can'
