I saw this on the discovery channel a few years ago. This guy lives in scotland and hes very rich and just devotes himself to building trebuchets. He had to use a shotgun to blast a hole for the rope to go through... right after launching the car he decided to launch his girlfriend (I am not making this up)... they set up a net for her to land in. She hit the net, but bounced out and broke her tailbone. They broke up very shortly afterward (true story i swear)
