It happenned to me once. the difference was that I was going straight and did not fly off on the side.
The biker did not do anything wrong, its the car that did not stopped in time and try to avoid the bike. But he clipped it.

Chock for the biker is (only!) when he hits the ground. So I presume, just like me he went off with some bruises...

Totally agree with you. I ride and usually from MY personal experience bikers who are actin up are the one's who run into the back of vehicles while actin up, not the other way around=) This biker switched into the lane at too hard and angle with no where near enough speed making this accident the bikers fault but not while Actin up.

Van driver was busy checking the side view mirror to see if the cop was gonna come out after him...

the bike did change lanes... and cant really see if the turn signal was used... plenty of blame to go around.

Bet good $$ that the stupid van driver was SO concentrated on the cops and their (what appeared to be )ticket blitz that he/she did not even see the biker!! It is true there are a lot of ahole bikers out there but in this case someone should be charged HUGE...

the biker sliding in 2 feet in front of the van... is pretty far short of normal following distance of 4 to 6 car lengths of seperation.
