their last line of sports games (the '06 ones, and one or two of the '07) were crap i think. they were very buggy. I've found that's typical EA bullshit over the years, so they're not one of my favorite developers.

It took a long time for Apple to rival the graphics but it never met the price value and forever for PC to make it, but it's here. Can you imagine what those developers could have done with todays technology?
