Yeah I lived in Idaho for 20 years and we used to do this while we were up in the mountains camping during winter but if you left em out over night the bottles would bust and the cans would be frozen lol

There is never any Beer left For That To happen!
normaly we just shovel snow in to The bathtub, lol

We would do that in Minnesota all the time when we went ice fishing.
