I used to go to those beaches every summer with my parents when I was a kid.
Then, I went to Australia. The water was so clear !! I could see my toes wiggling in the sand in chest deep water. There was no garbage on the beach. And, the sand was almost white.
It was then that I decided that I would never go back to the Northeast beaches. They just seem inferior by comparison.
