The transporter belongs to our #1 customer (we write software for the vehicle delivery industry). This sort of thing occurs every couple of years or so, which isn't too bad when you consider they do just short of 1 million vehicle movements a year.

That was something I had to watch for on the East coast of the U.S., when I was a truck driver...The older part of the country has many locations where the overpasses are to low for ususal transports and semis, a few in the South as well....

My friend "Tracy" can attest to this as he was in S. Dakota moving a BRAND NEW Combine to it's new owner when he took the entire cab off....he don't work there no more!

Yeah...The way he told it was as he was driving down the road he sees this low bridge comming up and it has a sign stating ' LOW BRIDGE 12'9''.'
So he's driving alonge and thinking "lets see...Combine=12',... low boy trailer=2'...and WHAM!!!!!!!
