I've seen this before. It was created by a guy name Axel Erlandson. He created more than 70 of them for his tree circus. Some of them are quite cool. There was another one that was shaped like a ladder. Unfortunately most of the trees have died and only about 25 of them remain (Axel died in the 60's himself).
