so very naive. the swastika is, in actuality, hundreds or even thousands of years old. it symbolizes good luck, protection, and is used to ward off evil. come on people do a little research.

Ok Tacoman5000 Yes ,the swastika is thousands of years old .Not a hundred or so but thousands. And I'm very well aware of the history of the swastika. But that sign was used to do evil to innocent people by a freaking nut job.The swastika once stood for good luck and protection was ruined by Hitler and his thugs. You get with it little boy wake up and READ your history books. All I meant was in this day and age and with HISTORY lessons in books. Swasitka is not good luck anymore...How old are you tacoboy?

C'mon, people. Look how freakin old she is! In her mind, she's just baking a tasty treat that has a little more history behind it than genocide.
In many Eastern European countries the older generations are still very much in tune with their traditions that have been around for centuries, even millenia.
It really is a pity that the younger generations don't appreciate old traditions for what they are, rather then what they have come to be.
