In the 1931 cartoon, Bimbo (generally portrayed as Betty Boop's wanna be boyfriend) is a bandit that robs a train that has his wife, Betty Boop, on it. Apparently, Bimbo left Betty and her ten children on the pretense of going out to get a quart of milk - hence, the "bum".

By today's definition, Bum Bandit takes on an entirely different meaning. Sometimes I yearn for the simpler life.

well you know i will take it the wrong way because that`s what i do best.i am not homophobic (i have some very good gay friends, that's why i started up "slightly gay Wednesday " to show that i am not homophobic.(BTW i am straight.)
anyway why not call yourself "up hill Gardener" or "shirtlifter" or maybe "Ben Dover" those names do not sound all that gay.J/K.

Well, I selected Heywood because Heywood Jablome was a funny name, though not all that original. I used to play an online game with dialup and kept getting my butt kicked because of the lag, so there I used Lou Zehr.
