I don't think original, i think it's weird and not very practical.

We don't have mailboxes they seem very strange we have letter boxes on our front doors

Maybe it's safe to let strange people close to your doors where you r at,but in my country, we have to set the mail box on our gates or walls.We can't trust anyone in this world no more.The crime situation has gone to far.We don't let anyone on our compound.Nice to know you r abit more comfortable.

It hasn't really affected me that much just yet,but it's getting closer to home.Someday if the authorities don't get serious,then it would leave people no choice but to migrate just for the sake of their family.We don't want to take chances, so we r very conscious right now.Prevention is far better than a cure.
