Hero to Icelandic children, Sportacus encourages the denizens of LazyTown to be, well, less lazy. He accomplishes this by battling junk food-aholic Robbie Rotten, dispensing fruits and vegetables (which he dubs "sports candy") and generally bouncing off the walls. (He's so manic, in fact, he needs the kids to settle him down.) Sportacus is less a role model to kids and more a cautionary example of what happens when adult Attention Deficit Disorder is allowed to go unchecked.
