I didn't realize scooters went that fast.

The ones I used in the grocery store after my ankle surgery years ago were slower than me walking on crunches.

The above chairs are cool looking. My dream is to have a working treadle sewing machine

My mum has a treddle sewing machine that she still uses. They are fun to use! Vroooooom!

When I first went to grammar school in 1969 our form room was the sewing room - full of Singer treadle sewing machines. I shall always remember the howls of pain when Gillian Megson accidentally pierced her pinky.

BTW Isaac Singer used to live a few miles away from where I live now - he had Oldway Mansion in Paignton, Devon, built.

Looks like what I learned to sew on. My Grandma also had one. I like them cause I can go faster and have more control than an electric. Too bad they don't make them any more.
