I had a ferret just like that. Her name was Clover. Ferrets are the absolute funniest animals. Mine would purposely do funny stuff and when she heard me laugh, she would do it over and over. They can be sneaky little boogers too.

Be kind to your children, they ultimately choose your nursing home.

I've heard that if you want a puppy and kitten combo, then get a ferret. They stay playful and silly all the time.

I already have pet overload, so none for me.

I had a ferret once, but it turned out to be a weasel in disguise. It would do all of the cute ferret things, but behind my back, it acted like the evil weasel it was. After it ate my pet rabbit, I fed it one more time, yes I fed it to my dog.
I know this is cruel talk, and I'll admit that I had my tounge firmly implanted in my cheek. I hope that you do not take offense rissa, I was only serious.
PS The attached pic, is what my dog looked like after eating said greasy weasel.
