I saw these guys when I went on a business trip last year through india and pakistan with my boss (I work in IT for a company in NY :)), these are the border guard for pakistan I believe and every so many months (no clue as to the number) they have a border guard ceremony with the indian guards, Not sure what the point is but lots of people gather and its a big thing.... and the guards start from like 200 feet away from the border gate to the gate itself while picking up their feet and slamming them down (I wonder how they dont break some bones...) was amusing to watch while it lasted though...
