well, at least not on the back of it. From the looks of it, the front is going to be pretty mashed up, but then it also looks like the post sheared off when the cop hit it. There wouldn't be much damage to the rear of it if it never hit the ground.

It would have been better if the Police Department installed phones in the car, as the Union wanted, rather than have the officer make a decision on how to notify his Station that he was involved in a 100mph+ chase, Since the police radio was not working at the time. Decisions, Decisions......
Oh well.

perhaps now the Commissioner will listen to the Union.

When I was in high school (I rode a dinosaur to school!), there was a kid who hit a telephone pole. I saw the truck - it looked just like this cop car. Had a big, round, indentation in the front end.

Nobody was hurt, but his truck was history.

phone probably jumped out in front of the car....was depressed that since everyone has a cell phone, no one was using it, and its life was now empty....what did it have to live for...plus it could blame it on the cops.
