More then likely going to be destroyed because they were use in some kind of crime. Our government has ways of wasting perfectly good guns ... and money, but that not relevant.

That's what I first thought of too. When my son was first born my wife wanted me to get rid of my shotgun, I really didn't have a problem with that.

I called the police station and they were going to destroy it. I said NO I want someone to have it and to enjoy it. The sargeant came right over.

I guess he wanted a new shotgun for himself.

When my kids were born I got rid of all of my guns. A shotgun, .38 pistol and a .22 rifle. I sold them all to different people. Now that my kids are older I kind of regret selling them all.

I don't regret it since here in Connecticut there aren't too many places left to shoot or hunt. I did get my son a bb gun this Christmas and no he didn't shoot his eye out LOL!

The sargeant did keep the gun for himself. I didn't care as long as someone got to enjoy it.
