There is nothing funny about this.

1st, the title is offensive. This is a dad showing his son how to shoot.
2nd, the gun is a single pump air rifle. Sure, it might put your eye out but nothing that would kill you.

I had a bb gun when I was 7 years old. Single pump daisy. It was great. I nver shot anybody with it (my dad would have given me the spanking of a lifetime for it if I did.) I also got a .22 rifle when I was 16. Hunted squirrels and pop cans ;-)

No shit, I have a pic of my oldest holding my shotgun. It's not loaded, he just was interested in what I was doing. In a few weeks when I go back to MN, I'm gonna teach him how to shoot a BB gun and then go rabbit hunting.

The due date for the new addition is July 10th of 2009!

I'm getting too old for this kid thing...

I think I got my first .22 when I was 10 or 11. That was just because I couldn't fit my hand around the glock .45. :)

my kid got a bb gun for HER 7th birthday. she is a damn good shot for her age, and when she is a little older i have all intentions of teaching her how to handle handguns, shotguns, and rifles of all calibers.
