it`s because i know bamber is a REAL ALE drinker unlike me that drinks bottles Bud or Stella which is what the brits call lager.
i would not be surprised if bamber is a member of camra.

I know a lot of CAMRA members, but I'm not a member.

I do have a small share in a micro brewery in Barnstaple though, the Barum Brewery.

Oh, and my local has just changed hands (still a Free House, thank God!) and the new people will be brewing their own ale!

This used to be my local, before I moved south. They have a pretty good beer festival a couple of times a year, if you're ever in that neighbourhood. Incidentally, I used to compile a quiz there. No shares in it though.
