I went to the Carmine Street public pool when I was 9 once.
I've never gone back & I never will ! It was SOOOO crowded & probably infested with disease & infection !!

The other thing I remember about that place was this guy that was wearing white jail issue boxers. And, when they got wet, you could see EVERYTHING !!!
He had a HUGE penis !!

I don't hang out here much anymore...

No no, SERIOUSLY. It was absolutely ENORMOUS !! Everybody was staring. Even the men (of course, it was the West Village).
That guy went to that pool every summer & he was the talk of that neighborhood all summer, every summer.
I never went back to that pool but, I do remember passing by the pool accidentally on purpose every summer !!

He actually hit on me when I was 20. Which was kind of gross because he had known me since I was a little girl. Plus, he was way older than me.

I don't hang out here much anymore...
