At the time he was 4 weeks old. He is now almost 2. He was found on our lot in a bag with 5 others. Someone had thrown them over the fence. Only two were still alive. His name is Bert. His brother Ernie only lived for a week after finding them. Our cameras caught the vehicle's lic. plate of the dik hed that did it. He is being prosecuted for cruelty and causing the death of an animal. It is still pending.

So sad, we have a dog we found on the road all bloody and saw the van that threw him out but they got away, we had to look out for the pup first.

Animals are not stupid, they have feelings too.

This is true. They have feelings, but still they aren't as smart as you.

But they can smell things you can't smell yourself. Their senses are more acute than the human senses.

Sometimes I don't know if that is worth it. haha Public restrooms, outhouses, etc etc.

To them scents are colors I've seen it on CSI

our vet said that when our dogs "the BOYS" go out for a walk they can smell scents up to 1 mile away and that when they smell grass,trees, rocks,ect. they are reading their "newspaper" getting all sorts of info.
