Something like that happened to me.
I had a brand new Diesel Dodge pickup truck.
I was on I84 passing an 18 wheeler, he fell asleep
and drifted from the right to the center lane.
He then hooked my truck and pushed me on the center guard rail and draged on the rail for quite a distance before we unhooked (quite a bouncy ride).
He then went completly accross the west bound side
Except for being shaken I was unhurt. I made the front page of the local newspaper. The pickup was destroyed and his insurance company bought me a new one
