My Mom had some that were cylinder/tubes,records. Is that the one?? The Vic had a slot that you slipped the scroll into .. late 1800's.

My mom collected antiques when I was little. We had a wind up Victrola that was about 3 /12 feet tall and held 50 or so record and you would push a button and it would push out the record for you to play. She had boxes and boxes of WWII and depression era records. One of them that was real funny was "the man that comes to our house." The man that comes to our house every single day, papa comes home and the man goes away. I have to stand out front and hold his horsey cause his horse doesn't want to wait. it has stanza's about the ice man and the milk man. It was pretty funny.
