The top picture is my front yard 24 hours ago when it started snowing. Image 2: I had whipped the snow off my car 30 minutes before. Image 3: If you look at the gazebo you can see the snow is about 6 inches deep Image 4: I cleared a path to the parking lot where the snow is about 10 inches deep. Image 5 you can see how deep the snow is by how much has piled up on the garbage cans.

Yes I realize to those of you who live in the east that this is a light dusting of snow. We average 1 to 2 inches of snow a year in about Late Jan and March. We got about 2 inches of snow last Thursday, Saturday night it started snowing again and we got about 6 inches over night. We are at about 12 inches now and as you can see it is still snowing. The last time I remember having a white Christmas is in grade school. Which is about the last time we had a foot or two of snow.

Up yours Gramps. You are 4 years my senior and are a grandpa via marriage. I am not a grandma yet and probably will not be for several years yet and you have far more snow on the roof than I do. btw You are just jealous and wish you were here, cause I am getting a white Christmas and you have to turn on the air-conditioning.

I was going to send you the picture of the phallus statue my daughter built out of snow on the dock at my sister lake house several years ago, but I can't find it.. ;-(

Hopefully the rain they are promising Christmas Eve Day will show up so I can go to my sister's for Christmas. I don't have chains and a mile drive to the main roads where they have been cleared and sanded.

Oh Joy (sarcasm) more snow coming tonight... we are suppose to get another 2 to 4 inches tonight. Ugh Earlier they said it was suppose to start raining tomorrow!!! I want to spend Christmas with my family!!!!

I've got snow for you also
I spent yesterday (Sunday) afternoon outside with a snow blower with the temperature at 10F trying to keep 14in of wind driven snow off the driveway.
I could stand in the mouth of a blast furnace and not thaw out.
And for Christmas I am going to the inlaws where they measure snow in feet.
