Not thinking of the Amish. Probably thinking of the Morman Missionaries that ride their bikes around to peoples houses. We had a couple come to my house when I was in my teens. They ride bikes until it gets too cold outside, then they get a car till spring.

We (the Mormons/LDS) don't practice polygamy, And we don't marry our sisters or any relatives for that matter.
It really bugs me that people can't get that through their head's!!

There are still many practicing mormons that do though, I've seen TV specials on it. I know, every religion has their extremists.

What I don't get is you can live with as many people you want, but can only marry one. The government should get out of the marriage business and let it stay in the hands of the churches, how it always was.

I'm not upset at all by your post. I just get sick of hearing people say that The "Mormons" are Polygamist.

Anyone that is LDS(Mormon) that chooses to "practice" Polygamy is excommunicated(Kicked out), So there for the LDS Church(Mormons) does NOT "practice" Polygamy.

By the way there is allot of misleading stuff on TV. ;)
