Cheap chemicals in the rubber processing. Have you noticed a lot of poison & toxic products coming out of China in the past few months, ie, dog food catfood poison fish, sewage fed shrimp, etc...or am I just being paranoid??

HELL NO! ur absolutely correct,china is turning out products that have not been inspected what so ever a big "ZERO" in quality control..pet food was the first BIG scare that was a huge public wake up call..thing is, they have been sending out lead tainted crayons & paint and many other contaminated items like toothpaste for years now.the recent million item recall for mattel preschool toys with toxic amounts of lead better get some serious protesting to this most insane lack of concern to what's actually in these products we slap up on our shelves and are potentially poisoning ourselves with.

The Chinese are also making bogus drugs that make it to US pharmacy's, so your legitimate prescriptions may be filled with bogus drugs.
It looks like the real thing, fools pharmacists and the brokers that supply them...very scarey for people that have to take various medications.......

By the way...those flip-flops were being sold at Wal-Mart and were still on the shelves after these women filed complaints and the stores were warned.....just thought you might want to know....

Nothing surprises me about Wally World, NOTHING! icluding them selling DISCOUNTINUED PRODUCTS without informing the customers that the scanner is being sold as is, AND the parts are NOT available if it breaks, I bought a HP Office copier scanner and so forth it broke 2 weeks later and they wouldn't replace it either and don't get me started on Wally World. They need to be closed down. Just because they sell things cheaper does NOT MEAN we the consumers must be treated like third class citizens! WAL-MART SUCKS THE BIG ONE!!!!!!

You need to get a decent Consumer Protection Act - they would never get away with practices like that in England.

I've already filed a complaint against Wally-World with the BBB to get some kind of replacement to no avail. And to add insult to injury I was informed by a clerk @ the BBB that I have to PAY NOW the BBB $ to file the complaint !! How RUDE !!Wally world sells stuff cheap cause they are buying in quanity and not quality & the MOST IMPORTANT is that 99.9 % of the stuff they sell has been discountinued by the MNFG.......new or not!! I wonder what HP thinks of Wally World selling products HP NO LONGER MAKES !!!
