They weren't invented yet when I was old enough to ride them. I had a radio trike with a bell and tassels and a step for my friends to ride on and wagon that we tied to the trike and carried all our treasures and friends in. We had lots of fun playing outside and getting all scrapped up. God am I glad video games we not invented yet. We would have missed out on all that fun.

I had a trike like that when I was 5. Within three weeks I had hit a brick on the footpath, gone over the handlebars, put my teeth right through my bottom lip and cut open my chin.

But the good part was for two weeks my favourite types of food at the time, through a straw - thin porridge, soups, (melted) ice cream, etc...

Usquequaque in fimus, tantum sublimitas varius.

Youth passes, but with luck immaturity can last a lifetime.
