I used to be in a quiz team. In the league, one round was individual questions - we were given four subjects and had to pick who answered a question on each subject.
Pete ended up with science and nature. The question was what is the young of a kangaroo called? After some consideration Pete replied "Skippy".

He's been known as Skippy ever since.
