No deer were killed! No elk were either.

The National Elk Refuge (winter elk area) is right outside of Jackson. A couple thousand elk winter there every year.
Those antlers are sheds. Antlers drop off in late winter and regrow starting in the spring.
No elk were harmed in the making of these arches. They are just picked up off of the ground.
