well, he is was one of the best sf novelists (some say the best)
plus he had a great contribution to science also

did he write a book about earth being a ring around the sun, instead of a planet? I had a physics question that asked if the earth was like that, at what speed would it rotate so gravity would be 9.8m/s^2, and how long would a day be? It said there was a sci-fi book written about it

i know he wrote about a lot about monkeys bashing each others heads in. as i saw on the start of the movie i was watching, but then soon after the monkey bashing scene i fell asleep.
