As I live alone (by choice) I do that myself... and as my flat is tiny and has no room for such machinery, I do it at the laundrette on Sunday.

1. Arrive at laundrette and put the wash on in.

2. Go to the Castle Inn for a pint (and maybe a breakfast).

3. Back to the laundrette to put the washing in the dryer.

4. Go to the Castle Inn for a pint.

5. Return to the laundrette to put dry washing into bag.

6. Do a food shop for next week at the Happy Apple.

7. Pop in the Castle Inn for a pint on the way home.

8. Arrive home approximately 2 hours after going out.

I like Sunday - damned civilised day.
