Holy Cow I did this as a kid!!! Might explain a few things.

It looks like I was at about this age when I did this, I wondered what was that "magic" in the wall that made a radio sing, brightened a room with a light and entertained me with TV.

After I got up after being jolted across the room I never tried that again!

I thought you had to put something in both sides of the socket,not just one side,but,hey I have never done it so I don't know
