great device for people who want to give up smoking.

next summer in the UK a total ban on smoking in all public places will be enforced.if someone gets caught in a bar for instance the smoker and the bar manager will be fined.

is this happened or going to happen any where in America.

It's been law here in Connecticut for a year now and a lot of bars have been closing and the owners have been complaining about lost business. Private clubs are exempt and memberships have been through the roof. I don't frequent bars so it doesn't bother me, but I feel a bar owner should be able to decide what kind of bar he runs.

i have been a non smoker for over a year now and there is no chance i will start again and if i smell smoke i move away from it.i agree with you,it should be up to the managers.a friend of mine owns a bar and he has not a clue how he is going to police it and is worried about getting fined all the time if he does not.
