its easy to get down

its a hot air balloon with just a cool design

so to get down, you just dont pull the cord that starts the heat

If the guy was smart, he'll have bags of sand as ballast. If he pops, or unties too many balloons and starts to drop quickly, he can release some sand from a ballast bag to slow his desent.

Saw this on the tube not long ago. The guy actually uses helium ballons. And he does use ballast, water in bags, so he makes rain to go up.

First trip iirc his plan was to shoot them to get down, and he took a slingshot to do it, only to find the slingshot wasn't powerful enough, so he had to cut the lines instead. I think he has a small pellet pistol now as a backup to cutting the lines since sometimes the lines don't let go.
