A pair of Army privates came upon a dead equine and began arguing over whether it was a mule or a donkey. The debate soon became heated and eventually attracted the attention on the drill Sargent. "Just what in the hell is going on here?!" he demanded.
"Well Sarge, Private Preston and I were just arguing as to whether this dead animal is a mule or a donkey."
"It's an ass! Now since you two have so much energy, grab a couple of shovels and bury that animal!"
The two privates grumbled, got some shovels and started in on digging a hole. A short bit later along comes a Lieutenant and asks, "What are you guys digging, a foxhole?"
The two privates look at each other, smile and say, "Noooo . . . "
