I got knocked out a few times, like that, but hey i enjoyed every second of it, really i did!!!!! The face is the least painful place where u can get hit by a soccer ball, the chest beind the worse, u won't be able to breathe normally for the rest of the day!!!! And in the balls, well that's a whole other story!!!!

first time i ever really blacked out for a few seconds was when i got hit in the nuts. a nutshot opens up a whole new can of whoop ass on yer nerves. whatever god there is must hate us, eh?

yup, totally agree!!!! I haven't blacked out from getting hit in the nutsack!!!! But i caught a few to the face, knocked me the fuck out!!!! I play goalie, so it's my "duty" to stop the ball, and sometimes it's just too fast and to close to have any reaction. Bonk...

i was always the defenseman. i was bigger than everyone, so they were pretty afraid to rush me and i could kick farther than anyone on my team. was great.

ah, you're lucky. i broke the growth plate in my knee a couple years ago and i can't play anymore. looking into some kind of excercises to get back into it though. and yes, i could get the ball about where i wanted it. as long as it was away from the goal. in my whole time playing, i think maybe 3 people got past me, in 3 or 4 years.

i would've loved to have u in my defense!!!! and i also just got over a knee injury, not half as bad as urs, i just strained a ligament, but pretty badly, had my leg in a cast for about two weeks, and it still hurts!!! The good thing out of it is that i can kinda tell when the weather is changing

i never got anything as cool as telling about the weather, but my leg was in an immobilizer for a month or two. if i'd kept walking on it or it something, i may have had to have surgery and that would have sucked. horribly. i miss playing very much as it is. if i'd had to have screws put in...i would never have played again, methinks.

my brother put my leg sideways under a mattress and jumped on it, knees first. took me about a week and a half to convince my mother something was wrong and to take me to the doc. so i got to hobble around for a couple months, and can't play the only team sport i was any good at. yes, i am bitching. but that's how it went.

honestly? it doesn't look good. i only started watching soccer relatively recently, but i saw their pre-world cup game with italy, and they got nailed, and so far from the cup games i watched, they haven't shaped up. landon donovan doesn't appear to be trying.

Ha ha , ur still lucky enough to have a team there, mine is sitting at home, blaming eachother and everything else!!!! And, i mean no offense, USA does look very crappy, and what i've seen so far of ur games, u have the will but not the knowledge of the game....and even though a good part of the players do play in Europe they're not of the best quality, and also i think u need another coach, because the one u have, well i'll leave at that!!!!!!
