I think its real.
I've seen cabins where people did that so they didn't have to cut down a tree. Not too sure how they roofed it, but it worked out.

I think its real too. I believe its a bar that is haunted because back in the early 1900's a woman was hung from that tree.

I may have seen that on the History Channel's "Most Haunted Places".

Wow...that is really neat. Question: On a windy day wouldn't one expect thes trees to move a bit? I remember the old treehouse we built when we were kids. The wind really whipped that thing around...I'm sure that being ON the ground makes this one sturdier!

Yea, it shopped. That tree is so big it would have taken up the whole inside of that house. You wouldn't even be able to build a house that small around a tree of that size. It sucks.
